2003 Ford Thunderbird

2003 Ford Thunderbird gained many unsolicited compliments. Ford's attempt to
revive their past glory produced this attractive image car, considered as an enjoyable
cruiser for two. Though it fails to offer good sporty performance, Thunderbird
is still the perfect choice for a top-down sunset adventure with a beloved passenger.
The vehicle's smooth 3.9-liter V-8 has been upgraded to 280 horsepower from 252,
and the change is very noticeable.
In spite of having extensive heft, the Thunderbird accelerates nicely from a
stop and runs silently at interstate speeds. T-Bird's acceleration is strong but
not as good as V-8-powered performance car. Thunderbird has five-speed automatic
transmission and it achieves a highly-regarded 17 mpg in the city and 23 in the
highway. Its traction control and firm body structure gives it an excellent handling.
New for Thunderbird 2003 are electronic throttle control and variable cam that
enhances its engine's performance, power and fuel efficiency; standard all-speed
traction control; heated driver and passenger seat, newly designed analog instrument
cluster; two-speed, variable-interval wipers with heated wiper park; and new interior
package which is made up of full leather seats, leather steering wheel and leather
shift knob. It is built in a 107.2 inches wheelbase and it has a curb weight of
3,775 pound.

Thunderbird is well-balanced and it turns around the corner with very minimal
body sway. It may have a retro appearance, but the moment you used to it, you
will find it enjoyable. For safety and security, Thunderbird offers dual front
and front side airbags and a theft deterrent system. Its 4-wheel antilock disc
brakes assure you of an immediate stop once it is needed.
